This new 12 precedes the forthcoming Freestyle Records album ‘Avid Sounds’ on which the band lovingly revisit their favourite soul and jazz funk anthems and update them with the Baker Brothers twist.

Kicking off with their reworking of the club classic ‘Family Tree’ which bounces along wonderfully with Vanessa Freemans faultless vocals taking the spotlight, we are then shot into orbit as the band stamp their own identity on the obscure delight that is Manzels ‘Space Funk’. With a Freefall Collective remix closing this 12 appetites should be thoroughly wetted for the forthcoming album, without doubt a shimmering summer classic.
