Patrick Alavi is a filter house/french house musician who is a native of Cologne, Germany. His most well known song is “The End”, which was featured in Hed Kandi’s Twisted Disco 02.05 compilation. His remixes are usually branded with the term “rerox”, a stylistic take on the normally used “remix”.

As many kids in the 80s Patrick grew up with the strong influence of the "new" tv channel MTV ... To that time Pat already felt big passion for pop music with that special funk appeal. Early Idols were Prince, Michael Jackson, Malcolm Mc Laren and others. As teenager Patrick more and more got into the soulful dance vibes of artists like Soul 2 Soul, Arrested Development, De La Soul, ... Later then, 16-year old Pat who just started a deathmetal band, discovered the more faster version of soul/funk created by producers like Nick Holder, Armand van Helden, Ian Pooley. Then later in 1996 Pat was flashed by the warm and fresh sound of french guys like Motorbass, Daft Punk and others. Now Pat is 26 and made himself a name in the international house scene with releases on Moody, IHR, Sismic, Work It Baby, etc... After 2 years now Pat has experienced adapting other styles and at least he found his very own "freestyle" sound. Thats the reason roXour music was created, a label that only puts out "future" music and especially a label that doesnt care how many copies are sold. Its only the pure passion and love for the music and its evolution which keeps roXour alive. But beside music it will include movies, poetry, fashion, and other kinds of art.
