Shingo Nakamura, well known for his remarkable activities on Silk Music and Enhanced Music, delivers two mesmerizing tracks that make his first appearance of original release on Otographic Music.
Hybridizing both deep and energetic taste on progressive house, the lead track “Behind The Sunset” shows Shingo’s attempt to develop his creativities. Dramatic piano and glistening synth makes moody atmosphere that draws flames of the setting sun.
More elegant number “Scroll” instantly catches your heart. The track features a texture of glittering and vibrant synths. Blissful piano spreads in the breakdown then it fuses to the grooves brilliantly in the climax.

Shingo Nakamura. Biography:

Shingo NAKAMURA was born in 1986. He started to compose music in 2002, at the age of 16. In 2004, he started to distribute his original songs, in the alias of "mek", at Muzie that is a music distribution site for indies.

When he was 19 years old, he encountered Progressive House. James Grant, who is A&R Director of Anjunabeats, came to Japan for doing his gig. His progressive sounds left Shingo spellbound. Consequently, he chose Progressive Trance and Progressive house as his main field.

In 2006, "The Originators – Raising Soul (mek Remix)" was suported by DJ Matsunaga of Sevensenses recordings. This catapulted him into the spotlight. From 2007, he started to distribute his songs in the name of "Shingo Nakamura". In 2008, finally Shingo achieved to release his track as a remix of "Favor – Spring Haze" from Sevensenses Recordings. From that
Shingo got started to be focused by various djs and labels both inside and outside of Japan.

In the first half of 2009, Shingo released some tunes: "Mango, Orion and J. Shore – Raining In Osaka (Shingo Nakamura Remix)" from Mango Alley, "Blue Light" and "Memory Of The Sea" from Sevensenses, and "Alice In Wonderland" from Silk Digital. They are supported by a lot of DJs worldwidely. After that he made strong and warm connection with labels all over the world such as Silk Music, Proton Music, Solaris Recordings. Now he plays as a role in the development of worldwide progressive house scene.

We hope he will become an international star in progressive scene further more in future. It is not so distant for sure.
